Kim Ki-hyun: "We Must Ask the People to 'Dissolve the National Assembly'... No Reason to Exist"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Kim Ki-hyun, a member of the Future United Party, raised his voice saying that "the ruling power's arrogance, dogmatism, and tyranny have rendered the National Assembly dysfunctional" and that the people should be asked about the 'dissolution of the National Assembly.'
On the 31st, Kim said on Facebook, "The National Assembly, which does not fear the people, no longer has any value of existence."
He criticized, "The ruling party rushed through the three lease laws and the Corruption Investigation Office law, which have a huge impact on the lives of the people, completely ignoring the bill review process stipulated in the National Assembly Act," and added, "The Blue House and the ruling party, fully aware of the side effects, are pushing the country's future to the brink by focusing solely on winning elections, ignoring social integration and harmony."

Kim said, "Even in the face of the anguished cries of the people saying, 'Is the country yours?' the ruling party leadership raises their fists with bright smiles shouting 'Fighting,' which reminds me of the angry cries of 'Are the people dogs and pigs?' that were popular during last October's Gwanghwamun protests," and continued, "In a situation where the National Assembly cannot function due to the ruling power's arrogance, dogmatism, and tyranny that bypass the opposition and ignore the people, I believe I have no choice but to ask the people about the 'dissolution of the National Assembly.'"
