Busan Gijang-gun to Provide Caregiving Expense Support for Low-Income Vulnerable Groups
From July, in cooperation with Busan Social Welfare Community Chest ... Up to 300,000 KRW with 30,000 KRW per day
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A project supporting nursing care expenses for low-income vulnerable groups is actively being promoted in Gijang-gun, Busan.
Starting this July, Gijang-gun has partnered with the Busan Community Chest of Korea to launch the 'Low-Income Vulnerable Group Nursing Care Expense Support Project.'
The nursing care expense support project provides nursing care expenses to low-income individuals who cannot receive care from a guardian, helping to stabilize their lives and offering tailored services to the beneficiaries.
The support targets low-income vulnerable groups with a median income of 80% or less who require nursing care during hospitalization. To receive benefits, applicants must submit an application form along with admission and discharge confirmation, a medical certificate, or a doctor's opinion to the Happiness Sharing Division of Gijang-gun Office or the administrative welfare center of their local eup/myeon.
Selected beneficiaries can receive nursing care expense support up to 30,000 KRW per day, with a maximum of 300,000 KRW per person.
