Daegu Western Police Station announced on the 28th that they booked a man in his 60s, Mr. A, on charges including violation of the Road Traffic Act for stealing a running taxi and fleeing in Bisan-dong, Seo-gu, around 8 p.m. the previous day.
Mr. A is accused of stealing the taxi and fleeing about 100 meters while the driver briefly went to a convenience store with the engine running.
Mr. A drove the stolen taxi and then stopped on the shoulder of the road and fell asleep.
