Lotte GRS Conducts Untact Volunteer Activity 'Creating Hygiene Education Book'
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Lotte GR&S announced on the 28th that it conducted a volunteer activity to create hygiene and cleanliness education books for children in developing countries.
This volunteer activity was carried out under the theme of hygiene and cleanliness suitable for the franchise business characteristics and the current situation, titled "Making Sparkling Clean Hygiene Education Books," due to restrictions on internal and external volunteer activities caused by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
About 200 Lotte GR&S employees participated in the project. Since last month, they have been producing the "Hygiene and Cleanliness Education Books" and delivered them to the international NGO organization "World Share." The produced education books will be distributed to children in developing countries.
The hygiene and cleanliness education books were created to raise awareness of the importance of hygiene among children in developing countries through proper hygiene habits and cleanliness education.

A Lotte GR&S official stated, "Although the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has caused a significant downturn in social atmosphere and many corporate activities have been suspended, social contribution activities must continue consistently. We will actively develop and implement social contribution programs that can be conducted non-face-to-face in the future."
