Bernard Werber to Meet Korean Readers via Video Call
Kyobo Bookstore Podcast: Video Interview with Berber on the 29th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] Kyobo Bookstore's Romantic Bookstore announced on the 27th that it will hold a video interview with Bernard Werber at 5 p.m. on the 29th.
The video interview will be conducted by the two hosts of Romantic Bookstore, Heo Hee and Heo Nam-woong, who will relay questions and messages of support received from readers via comments to author Werber, who is in France, through the video conferencing platform Zoom. Four readers who wish to participate in the video interview will be invited for a special meeting.
Werber is considered the most popular French novelist in Korea. Every novel he has published in Korea has become a bestseller and gained great popularity. His new book "Memory," released in May, is also currently very popular in bookstores.
Werber expressed his happiness to be able to meet Korean readers, even if only virtually, during these times when meeting in person is difficult due to COVID-19. In the video interview, he plans to reveal details about his upcoming new work "Judgment," scheduled for release in August. Kyobo Bookstore will release the full interview video with the author on its YouTube channel and podcast in August.
