COVID-19 Case Confirmed Among Visitors at Seoul City Hall... One Floor Closed (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 27th that a confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) occurred inside City Hall. The confirmed case is a man in his 50s who is not a public official but an external advisory committee member.
The confirmed case recently attended a meeting held on the 11th floor of the City Hall main building, where about 10 people were reported to have participated.
It is reported that this confirmed case does not work in a manner of coming to City Hall every day. The 11th floor of the main building houses departments under the Urban Regeneration Office, such as the Regeneration Policy Division, Urban Activation Division, and Housing Regeneration Division.

The city has currently closed the 11th floor and sent home employees working on that floor, instructing them to undergo testing. In addition, not only internal public officials but also external visitors frequenting the 9th-floor cafe and the basement snack bar have been temporarily closed.
