[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] SK Gas Co., Ltd. is starting to establish a disinfection system for LPG filling stations in preparation for the 'post-COVID-19' era.
On the 27th, SK Gas announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CESCO, the largest disinfection company in Korea, at the SK Gas headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam, to promote the establishment of a disinfection system for SK Gas filling stations.
Through this business agreement, the two companies plan to continuously cooperate in the future to explore various methods for establishing a disinfection system for SK Gas's LPG filling stations.
Starting with this MOU, SK Gas plans to build its own disinfection certification system named 'SK Gas Eco Guard' to prepare for a second wave of COVID-19 and subsequent situations.
As the first activity after the agreement, disinfection will be carried out at all SK Gas LPG filling stations nationwide, focusing on the filling areas and restrooms that customers mainly use. Disinfection equipment provided by CESCO will be installed on the filling machines and restrooms, and regular sterilization and disinfection will be conducted.
