Samsung Electronics 'The Serif' Global Famous Brands and Campaigns
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] Samsung Electronics' lifestyle TV 'The Serif' is collaborating with famous global brands to launch the 'What's on The Serif?' campaign starting from the 27th.
The Serif, designed by French furniture designer brothers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, was first introduced in 2016 and is characterized by its unique design shaped like the letter 'I'.
In the era of CRT TVs, consumers used to place picture frames or ornaments on top of their TVs to express their individuality, but as TVs have become thinner, this culture has long disappeared.
Samsung Electronics, inspired by this point, is conducting a unique campaign that combines the retro sensibility recently gaining attention with The Serif's design features.
Products or characters from companies representing various fields such as fashion, beauty, household goods, and design are styled together with The Serif and introduced on the respective companies' online accounts with hashtags.
Participating in this campaign are LEGO, Jo Malone London, AMOREPACIFIC, Heinz, Sticky Monster Lab, GoolyGooly, Alessi, and Callaway Golf.
