View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Secondary harm is intensifying as news spreads that the person who leaked the 'fake complaint document' filed by the victim accusing the late former Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon of sexual harassment is a church pastor who is close to the victim's mother. Not only did the victim's side allegedly spread the complaint and lead the secondary harm, but there has also been a flood of slanders suggesting that the late Mayor Park's sexual harassment was insignificant.
On the 25th, a post titled "Another church pastor? Did they leak it themselves?" was uploaded on a pro-government community free board. The author claimed that the victim's side leaked the complaint about the late Mayor Park, but others are looking for the leaker elsewhere. The post also expressed suspicion that the victim's side might have deliberately set the frame of a leak incident from the beginning and intentionally spread the complaint.
A post arguing that the victim's mother and the pastor are actually the secondary perpetrators was also posted. The author said, "They said they wouldn't leave the leaker alone, but the conclusion is that the victim's mother and the pastor leaked it," adding, "If anything, the mother and the pastor are the secondary perpetrators?" The author further added, "And yet, they are making a fuss about information leakage, trying to catch the police, the Blue House, and (Im Sun-young, Seoul City Gender) special advisor." This criticizes the victim's side for leaking the complaint but looking for those who informed the late Mayor Park about the lawsuit.
As it became known that the leaked document online was not the actual complaint but was leaked by the pastor and thus had some credibility, voices defending the late Mayor Park also surged. They argued that the sexual harassment described in the document was not severe. They also claimed that Seoul city officials were hesitant due to ambiguous sexual harassment facts and watched the situation from a step back, and when the late Mayor Park neglected this, the complaint was filed. There was also a claim that "women's organizations escalated the issue in the middle and tried to use the big catch of the Seoul mayor to highlight their presence."
Regarding this, lawyer Lee Eun from Lee Eun Law Office emphasized, "All these acts constitute secondary harm and may be subject to defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, and civil claims for damages may also be filed."

Meanwhile, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency is investigating those involved in leaking the fake complaint document. A police official said, "There are suspects related to the leak, but we cannot confirm who they are or the charges." Although the police did not specify who, it is reported that the suspect is the pastor suspected of initially leaking the document externally.
