52-Year-Old Woman Living in Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu Tests Positive for COVID-19 After Visiting Pocheon Military Base
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 23rd, one additional COVID-19 case was confirmed in Gangnam-gu.
The total number of confirmed cases in Gangnam-gu has increased to 96.
A 52-year-old woman residing in Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, visited a unit of the Army 8th Division located in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, where a cluster infection occurred. She is a colleague of a Gangnam-gu resident who was confirmed positive the previous day. Experiencing a scratchy throat, she visited the Seocho-gu Public Health Center for testing the day before and was confirmed positive on this day.
Gangnam-gu conducted disinfection of facilities visited according to the confirmed patient's residence and movement path, and is currently carrying out a detailed epidemiological investigation to identify additional contacts.
