Korea Racing Authority Temporarily Postpones Partial Spectator Admission Scheduled for the 24th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Korea Racing Authority has decided to temporarily postpone the partial reopening of the racecourse park scheduled for the 24th. This measure follows the government's quarantine guidelines and recommendations.
Accordingly, Busan-Gyeongnam Racecourse Park also announced on the 23rd that it will indefinitely postpone its plan to allow spectators to enter at up to 10% of the seating capacity starting from the 24th.
The pre-seat reservation system, which was scheduled to open on the 23rd, has been put on hold. For the time being, races will continue to be held without spectators as before.
A Korea Racing Authority official stated, “We will monitor the situation and consult with health authorities to resume spectator admission as soon as possible in a safer environment.”
