Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College Holds Entrance Ceremony for 4th Wellness Tourism Coordinator Trainees
Training Wellness Tourism Coordinator Experts in the Northwestern Region
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Anti-Aging Service Center at Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College announced on the 22nd that it held an entrance ceremony for the 4th class of Wellness Tourism Coordinator trainees at the multipurpose auditorium.
The training of wellness tourism coordinators aims to create win-win jobs in wellness tourism in connection with the four counties of Geochang, Hamyang, Sancheong, and Hapcheon.
The training course is a specialist development program that utilizes ecological resources in the northwest region to operate wellness tourism programs, and it has been conducted for three years at the Anti-Aging Service Center of Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College.
A total of 20 trainees were selected from residents of Geochang, Hamyang, Sancheong, and Hapcheon counties for the wellness tourism coordinator training.
Additionally, over 10 weeks (200 hours), trainees will learn theory and practice about wellness tourism vision and prospects, meditation, oriental medicinal herbs, forest and ecology, history and culture, and healing massage.
Those who complete this training course will be able to obtain the Level 2 Wellness Tourism Coordinator certificate through theoretical and practical exams.
