Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education to Hire 180 Educational Public Service Workers Including Kitchen Staff
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 22nd that it plans to hire a total of 371 educational public service workers across 12 job categories, including cooks, working at various schools and educational institutions, using an online recruitment system.
The hiring scale includes 180 cooks, 50 special education assistants, and 40 educational assistants, among which 10 positions will be reserved for persons with disabilities.
Through the online recruitment system, job announcements, applicant registration, and notification of successful candidates will be conducted. For applicants who have difficulty with online registration, a proxy registration service will also be provided. Application submissions are open from the 28th to the 30th.
Following this, the first document screening will take place on August 6th, and the second interview screening on August 10th, with the final successful candidates announced on August 12th. After a three-month probation period and evaluation, successful candidates will obtain a permanent contract status with guaranteed tenure.

For recruitment of small numbers, during the interview stage, regions will be designated by each education support office, and interviews for the respective job categories will be conducted at the hub education support offices, with the results then communicated to non-hub education support offices.
