On the 21st, KPGA announced, "This was arranged at the request of Lee Seung-chul, who watched last week's Korean Tour KPGA Open with great interest." Lee Seung-chul said, "I have always been interested in men's professional golf, but while watching the KPGA Open, I became deeply captivated by the unique tournament format and the charm of the male players," adding, "I wanted to widely promote the appeal of KPGA." Lee Seung-chul served as caddie for Yang Yong-eun (48) at the 2011 Masters Par 3 Contest and the 2017 GS Caltex Maekyung Open.
