[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Elementary school students who got lost while fishing were found through a drone search conducted by firefighters.
According to Seosan Fire Station in Chungnam on the 20th, three elementary students, including A (11), who got lost and wandered while fishing in the river in Dodang-ri, Eumam-myeon on the afternoon of the 16th, were rescued through a drone search.
At around 6 p.m. that day, Seosan Fire Station received a phone call from A, who said, "I came fishing with two friends but got lost. Please track our location."
The fire station dispatched five personnel to the scene to conduct a search, but due to the complicated terrain, they could not find the children.
Meanwhile, a firefighter launched a drone and found the children near the river within about 30 minutes, and they were returned to their families through the police.
