Goheung-gun Implements Special Act on Real Estate Ownership Transfer
Implemented for 2 Years Starting from the 5th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 20th that it will implement the "Special Act on the Transfer Registration of Real Estate Ownership, etc." for two years from July 5 to August 4, 2022.
This law is a temporary measure that allows real estate without ownership preservation registration or whose registry entries do not match the actual rights relationship to be registered through a simplified procedure.
The applicable targets are land and buildings that were effectively transferred or inherited through legal acts such as sale, gift, or exchange before June 30, 1995.
Applicants can apply by obtaining seals from five or more guarantors (including at least one lawyer or judicial scrivener) appointed by the head of the eup/myeon on the confirmation and guarantee documents, undergo a two-month public notice (notification to interested parties) process, and if there are no objections, receive a confirmation certificate and apply for registration at the Goheung Registry Office.
