BPA held the July monthly employee meeting on the 20th at 10 a.m. as a real-time non-face-to-face online video conference and announced that such online monthly meetings will continue until the COVID-19 situation is resolved.
This is the first time BPA has conducted a monthly meeting attended by all employees through a non-face-to-face video conference. According to officials, this move is intended to minimize gatherings among employees within the company and emphasize the commitment to practicing social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections.
On the day of the meeting, President Nam Ki-chan delivered greetings and requests from his office, while executives and employees all watched through their office work PCs.
President Nam Ki-chan stated, “This online monthly meeting is intended to take the lead in preventing the three Cs (closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact settings) among employees to fundamentally block the spread of COVID-19, as the risk of COVID-19 transmission remains present while managing and operating Busan Port.”
