[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] On Monday the 20th, rain will start in the western regions and spread nationwide. The rain, which expands across the country, will mostly stop from late afternoon.

The Korea Meteorological Administration announced on the 19th that the nationwide weather will be influenced by a low-pressure system developed along a stationary front.

Additionally, the southern regions and Jeju Island are expected to receive 10 to 50 mm of rain until the next day, the 21st.

Between 3 a.m. and 9 a.m. on that day, heavy rain accompanied by gusts, thunder, and lightning with hourly rainfall of 30 to 50 mm is forecasted for Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon Yeongseo, and the northern part of Chungnam's west coast.

Expected precipitation amounts are 50 to 100 mm for Seoul and the West Sea 5 Islands, over 150 mm for northern Gyeonggi and northern Gangwon Yeongseo, 30 to 80 mm for southern Gyeonggi, southern Gangwon Yeongseo, and northern Chungnam, and 10 to 50 mm for Gangwon Yeongdong, southern Chungnam, southern Chungbuk, and Jeju Island.

The lowest temperatures on that day are expected to range from 22 to 26 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperatures from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.

Morning low temperatures by region are predicted as follows: △ Seoul 24°C △ Incheon 22°C △ Chuncheon 24°C △ Gangneung 26°C △ Daejeon 25°C △ Daegu 25°C △ Busan 24°C △ Jeonju 25°C △ Gwangju 24°C △ Jeju 27°C.

Daytime high temperatures are forecasted as: △ Seoul 26°C △ Incheon 25°C △ Chuncheon 27°C △ Gangneung 31°C △ Daejeon 27°C △ Daegu 29°C △ Busan 26°C △ Jeonju 27°C △ Gwangju 27°C △ Jeju 29°C.
