According to Daejeon City on the 18th, a woman in her 30s living in Boksu-dong, Seo-gu, tested positive for COVID-19 on the same day.
The woman is the daughter of the 140th confirmed case and was released from self-quarantine the day before.
She was released from self-quarantine after testing negative twice, but showed symptoms the day after release and tested positive on the third test.

An official from the quarantine authorities said, "This is an unusual case," and added, "We are conducting an epidemiological investigation to determine whether she was infected by her mother or had contact with another source of infection before self-quarantine."
