According to the Ulsan Police Station on the 17th, at around 9:30 PM on the 14th, A (52), who was intoxicated, stabbed B (12), a middle school student riding a bicycle, in front of an apartment in Bangu-dong, Jung-gu, Ulsan, causing injuries requiring three weeks of medical treatment.
A called out to B, who was riding a bicycle past him, saying "Come here."
When B asked, "Why?" A responded, "Do you think adults are a joke?" and struck B's head and stabbed his abdomen with the weapon he was carrying.
A left B and went home, while B, bleeding, sought help at the apartment security office.
B was transported to the hospital and was diagnosed with injuries including 1?2 cm lacerations on his head and abdomen, requiring three weeks of treatment.
A reportedly stated that he committed the act because he was startled by the bicycle suddenly passing by.
The police urgently arrested A on suspicion of aggravated assault three hours after the incident while he was sleeping at home, but it was confirmed that he was released the next day.
