Signing of Industry-Academia Cooperation MOU between Jeonbuk Automobile Inspection and Maintenance Business Association and Partners
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonbuk Jeonju Vision University announced that it held an industry-academia cooperation agreement ceremony with the Jeonbuk Automobile Inspection and Maintenance Association to provide short-term jobs for young people and foreign students amid the COVID-19 crisis.
On the 16th, Vision University and the Jeonbuk Automobile Inspection and Maintenance Business Association (Chairman Yoo Young-jin) signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement in the integrated multimedia conference room to actively cooperate in nurturing excellent professional technical personnel needed in the industrial field, technical guidance, customized manpower, and the training and supply of foreign students.
The two organizations agreed on a practical agreement focusing on joint research and development of industrial technology in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, development of educational courses related to automobile technology, short-term employment of foreign students, and mutual cooperation in technical education for students.
The agreement ceremony was attended by 14 people, including Hong Soon-jik, President of Jeonju Vision University, Jung Seok-hoon, Head of the University Innovation Headquarters, Choi Seung-hoon, Director of the Industry-Academia Cooperation Group, and Yoo Young-jin, Chairman of the Automobile Inspection and Maintenance Business Association.
President Hong Soon-jik of Vision University first said, “As our university is a junior college that trains personnel needed in the field, we earnestly request your great support so that customized education can be provided through field training and that practical field training and employment can be linked for students and foreign students.”
