[Exclusive] Choo Sung-hoon, Lee Sang-hwa, and Mo Tae-bum Appear on Sports Variety Show 'Cashback'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Mixed martial arts fighter Chu Sung-hoon and former speed skaters Lee Sang-hwa and Mo Tae-bum are coming together for a sports variety show.
According to our report on the 16th, Chu Sung-hoon, Lee Sang-hwa, and Mo Tae-bum have confirmed their appearance on the tvN sports variety program "Cashback" (directed by Kim In-ha), which will premiere in August.
"Cashback" is a massive global game show format jointly planned by CJ ENM and the leading American TV production company Bunim-Murray Productions.
After airing as a pilot program in April and receiving enthusiastic responses, it was recently confirmed for regular broadcasting. Positioned as a sports variety show continuing the legacy of "Start Dream Team," it is designed to deliver excitement and thrills through meticulous sets and team play, scheduled to air in August.
During the pilot broadcast, Kim Dong-hyun led "Cashback," but Chu Sung-hoon will take the central role this time. Having recently relocated with his family to Hawaii, USA, he will return to domestic broadcasting through "Cashback" after one year since the 2019 Channel A variety show "Must Sell to Return in Vietnam."
Additionally, Chu Sung-hoon, along with former athletes Lee Sang-hwa and Mo Tae-bum, who are under the same agency, Bonboo ENT, are determined to spark a boom in sports variety shows once again.

Following the pilot, broadcaster Kim Sung-joo will serve as MC for "Cashback," with Boom joining as his partner to co-host the program.
