SKT Launches 'T Map Shopping'... Rewards Points Based on Driving Distance and Fuel Amount
New Cars, Rentals, Leases, Vehicle Accessories, Engine Oil, and More
Up to 30% Discount with Mileage and Fuel Amount Linked Points
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] SK Telecom launched ‘T map Shopping’ on the 14th, which offers discount points based on T map driving distance and fuel payment amount, and allows users to purchase car accessories at a lower price.
SK Telecom provides the T map Shopping service in partnership with e-commerce operator Genie Works. T map users can accumulate shopping points according to driving distance or fuel payment amount and use them when making purchases.
T map Shopping offers a wide range of car-related products, from new cars, rentals, and leases to car parts and accessories needed for driving life, engine oil and other car supplies, fuel vouchers, and car wash tickets.
By using T map, users can accumulate shopping points. Two points are earned per 1 km of T map driving distance, and 30 points are earned per 1,000 KRW spent on fuel payments at gas stations nationwide. For example, after traveling 20 km and refueling 50,000 KRW, 40 points are earned from the driving distance and 1,500 points from the fuel payment.
When purchasing products with shopping points, users can receive a discount of up to 30% of the amount. The validity period of shopping points is one year. Anyone who agrees to ‘T map Driving Habits’ can earn points for driving distance. Fuel points can be earned by registering Samsung Card or Shinhan Card with the ‘T map Fuel Discount’ service.
SK Telecom introduces carefully selected products at prices cheaper than the lowest internet prices through the ‘T map Pick’ service within T map Shopping.
