[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Muan County, Jeonnam (Governor Kim San) announced on the 10th that it will start operating a rural bus route connecting Namak and Oryong districts with Imseong-ri, Samhyang-eup from the 13th.
This route starts from Imseong Station and runs through Samhyang-eup Office, Sangyong Village, Hoeryong Village Jugong Apartments, Namak Complex Community Center, Namak Moa Elga, Dongbu Centreville, and Oryong Middle School, turning back at Namak Goldium, operating 9 times daily. The operating hours are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
However, the route will be extended to coincide with the move-in to Oryong District at the end of July, and the operating hours may be slightly changed accordingly.
From the end of this month, passengers using city buses bound for Mokpo will be able to transfer for free at the Hoeryong Village transfer point to routes 1, 20, 60, and 800.
The circular bus operation has made it much easier for new town residents to visit the Samhyang-eup Office, and rural residents can also more easily access hospitals, clinics, commercial, and cultural facilities located in the new town.
