Ha Tae-kyung, the secretary of the National Assembly Intelligence Committee, said, "Nominee Park praised former President Jeon Du-hwan and also praised Kim Jong-un during the purge of Jang Song-thaek. It is questionable whether a person who praised dictators is qualified to be the NIS director who protects democracy," and added, "We will unite our efforts to conduct a thorough verification."
