"Enjoy Da Vinci Masterpieces via App" Naver Zepeto Opens Virtual Art Museum
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Naver Z's global AR (augmented reality) avatar service 'Zepeto' announced on the 9th that it has opened a virtual art museum.
During a time when visiting exhibitions in person has become difficult due to the COVID-19 pandemic, users can safely appreciate historical masterpieces using the Zepeto application (app).
As it is a virtual space art museum, anyone can download the app and enjoy free admission year-round.
The Zepeto virtual art museum, consisting of 7 exhibition rooms across 2 floors, allows visitors to view 69 works including paintings and sculptures by 17 masters from the Renaissance era such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, who left historic masterpieces.
Naver Z explained that since its opening on the 3rd, more than 150,000 people have visited the virtual art museum. Users can safely enjoy various activities remotely, such as taking 인증샷 (certification photos) at various photo zones and finding hidden spaces within the masterpieces.
