Following Last Year, the 'Education Public Data Utilization Competition' Held Again

The Ministry of Education announced on the 6th that it will hold the 2nd Educational Public Data Utilization Competition in collaboration with the Korea Council for University Education and the Korea Education and Research Information Service.
The theme of this competition is creative ideas using educational public data, divided into the data literacy field and the startup idea field. The data literacy field targets elementary school students in grades 4 to 6 and middle and high school students. Teams of up to three students must include a supervising teacher to participate. The startup idea field is open to university and graduate students as well as the general public, and participants can enter individually or as a team.

The grand prize will be awarded to three teams that pass the second round of judging in each field through a final evaluation. The application deadline is September 25. Starting from this competition, one team per field will also be selected through a nationwide online vote via the Idea Award. This will be awarded additionally regardless of the final judging results.
