They have pioneered new coverage areas in the industry, such as acute hepatitis diagnosis and endometriosis diagnosis, further strengthening existing coverage and introducing a new non-surrender plan with economical premiums.
First, they newly developed acute hepatitis diagnosis coverage that protects against acute hepatitis (types A, B, and C). Acute hepatitis A, covered for the first time in the industry, is a major infectious disease diagnosed in more than 18,000 people domestically last year. Additionally, they newly applied endometriosis diagnosis coverage, which protects against endometriosis that can cause infertility in women of childbearing age.
Furthermore, a new non-surrender plan, which does not increase premiums despite being a non-renewable fixed-term plan, is being operated for the first time. This new non-surrender plan significantly reduces premiums compared to existing plans by not paying surrender refunds in case of cancellation during the insurance period, making it advantageous for customers seeking economical premiums.
When designed based on age 40, the two comprehensive insurance types can be subscribed at about 46% of the standard surrender-type premium for a 20-year payment period, and the child insurance, when designed based on age 10, is about 27% of the standard surrender-type premium for a 20-year payment period, making it affordable.
