Yongin City Launches E-Book Service for Periodicals
[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province will start an e-book service for periodicals from next month to strengthen non-face-to-face reading content as COVID-19 social distancing continues.
Accordingly, users will be able to freely subscribe to about 200 related magazines including current affairs, economy, travel, sports, and hobbies anytime and anywhere through mobile devices such as tablet PCs or smartphones.
To use the periodical e-book service, PC users can log in to the Yongin City Library website and use it immediately. For mobile devices, install the 'Library Magazine' app and select 'Yongin City Library' upon login.
Any regular member of the library can use the service for free. There is no limit on the number of users, and simultaneous access for reading is allowed.
