7 Additional COVID-19 Cases in Seoul... Total 1,312 Confirmed
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] As of 6 p.m. on the 29th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the cumulative number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Seoul reached 1,312. This is an increase of 7 cases compared to the Central Disease Control Headquarters' count as of midnight.
Three additional confirmed cases related to the Richway door-to-door sales company in Gwanak-gu were reported in Mapo-gu on the same day, bringing the total number of cluster infection cases related to this to at least 210, including 122 in Seoul.
In addition, there was 1 confirmed case related to overseas contact, 1 case from contact with confirmed patients from other cities or provinces, and 2 cases for which the quarantine authorities are currently investigating the infection routes.

Also, among the patients confirmed in Seoul on this day was a 29-year-old man working at the Emart24 Yangji Ambient Logistics Center in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province. This man was a colleague of patient number 61 from Anyang, Gyeonggi, who was first confirmed positive at the logistics center on the 26th, and was under self-quarantine.
