Incheon City Supports Development of Excellent Design Prototypes... Up to 25 Million KRW per Company
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City is recruiting companies to participate in the 'Excellent Design Prototype Development Support Project' through its executing agency, Incheon Technopark Design Support Center.
This project supports the production costs of working mockups or molds to help small and medium-sized manufacturing companies that have excellent design results but face difficulties in commercialization due to lack of funds to mass-produce their products.
Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized manufacturing companies with factories in Incheon, who can apply by forming a consortium with specialized companies capable of prototype production. Applications will be accepted from the 30th until the 22nd of next month, and about 17 companies will be selected through document screening and presentation evaluation for support.
Support covers up to 80% of the working mockup production cost, with a maximum of 8 million KRW, and up to 80% of the mold production cost, with a maximum of 25 million KRW.
