Gyeonggi-do Forms Task Force to Combat Digital Sex Crimes
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province is operating the 'Gyeonggi Province Digital Sex Crime Response Task Force' in collaboration with the Gyeonggi Family and Women Research Institute to respond to digital sex crimes and develop related policies.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 26th that the Digital Sex Crime Response Task Force will hold its launching ceremony at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Situation Room on the 30th.
Governor Lee Jae-myung of Gyeonggi Province will serve as the head of the task force. The task force consists of a policy advisory group made up of experts from academia, law, and medical fields related to digital sex crimes, and two subcommittees focused on victim safety and digital human rights, which include practitioners such as police officers, education officials, facility directors, and counseling center heads. Members will be active until September.
