[Breaking] 4 Confirmed Cases at Large Church in Gwanak-gu... 'About 1,700 Congregants'
[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] The quarantine authorities announced on the 26th that four members of the Wangseong Church in Gwanak-gu, one of the large churches in Seoul, tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
So far, the confirmed patients reside in Gwanak-gu (3 people: Gwanak cases 90, 95, and 96) and Gwangmyeong City, Gyeonggi Province (1 person).
Among them, the first confirmed case was a 31-year-old woman living in Seowon-dong, Gwanak-gu (Gwanak case 90), who tested positive on the morning of the 25th. Subsequently, a 30-year-old woman living in Sinwon-dong (Gwanak case 95) and a 30-year-old man living in Miseong-dong (Gwanak case 96) were confirmed positive on the same day. It was investigated that Gwanak cases 95 and 96 had contact with Gwanak case 90 on the 19th and 20th.
The confirmed case in Gwangmyeong City is a man in his 20s living in Cheolsan-dong, who tested positive on the 25th at the Yangji Hospital screening clinic in Gwanak-gu and was transferred to Suwon Hospital of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center.
