[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Convenience store Seven Eleven launched a unique ice cream using cereal on the 24th.
The new products utilize Kellogg's popular cereals Chex Choco and Corn Flakes, and come in two flavors: 'Choco Flake Bar' and 'Corn Flake Bar.' The price is 1,800 won each.
The 'Choco Flake Bar' is made by adding finely crushed Kellogg's Chex Choco to chocolate ice cream, while the 'Corn Flake Bar' is completed by adding Corn Frost to soft milk ice cream with strawberry syrup.
As the recent daytime high temperatures exceed 30 degrees Celsius, marking the start of the full heat season, convenience store ice cream sales are also showing an upward trend. According to Seven Eleven, ice cream sales from June 1 to 23 increased by 30.8% compared to the previous month.
