The privately participated youth housing project, "Geobuki Jip 2-ho" (Turtle House No. 2), aims to alleviate the housing cost burden and improve the living environment for young people. It is a project to supply youth housing in the Gimhae area, where there is high demand from youth, in collaboration with private companies. This project supports the remodeling of privately owned old houses, and homeowners who receive support can rent their houses to young people such as university students, job seekers, and early career workers at half the surrounding market price for six years.
Through this agreement, Gyeongnam Province and Gimhae City will each provide 50 million won for the youth housing project expenses and will promote the establishment of project plans and the discovery of target sites.
