Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education, YouTube Live Training for Protecting Educational Activities
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 23rd that it will conduct a YouTube live training session on the 24th for vice principals in Jeonnam Province titled ‘2020 Education Activity Protection Capacity Enhancement.’
This training will be conducted as a YouTube live broadcast with interactive online communication, breaking away from the previous format of in-person training divided into three regional zones, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep pace with the changing times.
Prior to the live training, a ‘2020 Education Activity Protection Manual’ reflecting the main contents of the newly revised Teacher Status Act was produced and distributed to schools at all levels.
The manual explains in an easy-to-understand manner the main contents of the existing issue-handling-centered manual, as well as difficult legal terms, legal interpretations, and issue-handling procedures that on-site teachers had not encountered before. It is designed so that teachers in the field can easily find and resolve any questions at any time and apply the information.
