Several Severed Cat Paws Found in Residential Area... Police Investigation Underway

The Masanjungbu Police Station in Gyeongnam announced on the 16th that they are investigating after receiving a report that someone had thrown severed cat paws in a residential area in Gyobang-dong, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam.
According to the police, the informant is someone who usually feeds stray cats and discovered one severed front paw of a kitten near the cat's food bowl placed at the entrance of their house around 5 a.m. on the 13th.
The next day at 5:18 p.m., the informant found another paw, presumed to be a hind leg of the same kitten, near the entrance at a different spot.
One more cat paw was found in another house, but it was reported that this paw was thrown away in a trash bin by the resident who first found it, so it could not be recovered.
