Gyeongnam Province Accelerates Preparations for Gyeongnam Provincial Theater Company's Play 'Toji' Performance

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Gyeongnam Province announced on the 16th that the Gyeongnam Provincial Theater Company has completed the selection of actors to appear in the inaugural performance through public auditions and held a meet-and-greet at the Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center on the 15th, officially beginning preparations for the performance.
On this day, the theater company was attended by key staff including Artistic Director Park Jang-ryeol, Assistant Director Jang Bong-tae, Music Director Park Jin-gyu, and about 20 actors including prominent Gyeongnam actors Jeong Myeong-sim, Cheon Yeong-hoon, and Park Seung-gyu, who exchanged first greetings and expressed their determination for the inaugural performance.
The Gyeongnam Provincial Theater Company's inaugural performance, "Play Toji," based on the novel Toji by writer Park Kyung-ni, is scheduled to start its first performance from September 17 to 19 at the Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center in Jinju, Gyeongnam, followed by touring performances in Hadong, Tongyeong, Changwon, and other areas in Gyeongnam.
Additionally, from September to December, a regular performance titled "Fun Fun Talk Show" by theater actors will be held, and in December, various performances and events including a planned collaboration with the theater company Jangjabeondeok are planned to meet the residents of Gyeongnam.
