Job Creation Through Making Cleaning Sacks from Discarded Banners
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] On the 15th, Jinju City in Gyeongnam signed a 'Waste Banner Recycling Business Support Agreement' with the social enterprise Jinju Regional Self-Support Center at the situation room inside the city hall.
The agreement mainly involves the city collecting discarded waste banners and providing them free of charge to the Jinju Regional Self-Support Center, which then manufactures shopping bags and cleaning sacks from them and supplies these to the city.
The city plans to distribute the shopping bags and cleaning sacks supplied for purposes such as street environment maintenance free of charge to the eup, myeon, and dong administrative districts.
