According to military authorities on the 14th, Captain A, who serves at a Navy unit in Changwon, was arrested by the military police on the 11th on charges of producing and possessing obscene materials.
Captain A is accused of forcing a female victim, whom he met through a one-on-one chat app, to produce obscene materials and then storing them on his personal mobile phone and other devices.
The case involving Captain A was transferred to the military police after civilian police, investigating reports related to sexual exploitation materials, detected the charges. However, it is known that he is currently exercising his right to remain silent.
