Tugboat Sinking While Docked in Yeosu... Coast Guard Conducts Rescue Operation

According to Yeosu Coast Guard on the 14th, at around 7:05 a.m., they received a report that the tugboat A had sunk, and deployed patrol vessels, containment boats, the Coast Guard rescue team, and coastal rescue boats to carry out rescue operations.
There were no crew members on board the tugboat at the time of sinking, so no casualties were reported.
The Coast Guard contacted the owners of four vessels moored alongside the tugboat and evacuated them to a safe area. They also initiated containment operations using oil-absorbing pads and oil recovery devices to remove oil spilled from the sunken vessel.
