Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters Supports Health Checkups for Uljin Residents... 1 Billion KRW for Examination Fees
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters announced on the 12th that it will provide health checkup support to about 2,200 residents of Uljin County.
To this end, it signed a comprehensive health checkup support agreement with Uljin Public Health Center, Uljin Medical Center, Pohang St. Mary's Hospital, and Gangneung Asan Hospital. Local residents can receive free checkups for about 100 items, including gastroscopy, abdominal ultrasound, and bone density tests. The cost involved is estimated to reach 1 billion KRW.
Hanul Nuclear Power Plant has been carrying out the resident comprehensive checkup support project since 2013. Up to last year, a total of 10,703 people have benefited.
