Gokseong-gun Holds Seniors' Gateball Tournament Amid Thorough Quarantine Measures
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Chunsu] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it is holding a regional senior gateball tournament from the 11th to the 29th under thorough quarantine measures.
The tournament, hosted by the County Sports Council and the Gateball Association, features 11 teams competing in friendly competition. Although it is not a major tournament with prize money, but rather a friendly match among local gateball teams, the enthusiasm of the participating teams is high as this is the first tournament held in a long time due to COVID-19.
Before participating in the game, players undergo temperature checks and disinfection, and during the game, they strictly follow quarantine guidelines such as wearing masks.
