View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jeong] Gil Won-ok (92), a victim of the Japanese military sexual slavery who had been residing at the shelter "Our House of Peace (Mapo Shelter)" operated by the Justice and Memory Foundation (Jeonguiyeondae) in Mapo-gu, Seoul, left the shelter on the morning of the 11th.
According to Jeonguiyeondae and others, on the morning of that day, Grandma Gil left the Mapo Shelter together with her adopted son, Pastor Hwang. Pastor Hwang is known to have expressed his intention to personally take care of Grandma Gil after Director Son Young-mi passed away. Pastor Hwang is the adopted son who has raised Grandma Gil since she was a newborn.
