Hannam University Receives 'A Grade' in University Innovation Support Project Evaluation

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Hannam University has received the highest grade, 'A grade,' in the first-year annual evaluation of the University Innovation Support Project.
According to the university on the 11th, the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation evaluated 131 autonomous improvement universities nationwide by five regional zones (Type 1). As a result, in the Chungcheong region, 8 out of 26 universities received an A grade.
In the first year of the Innovation Support Project, Hannam University set the goal of "cultivating innovative talents who lead social change based on field adaptability" and promoted educational innovation for the coexistence and development of the local community and industry.
Additionally, the university analyzes that the development of social innovation-type educational programs and the development and operation of service-learning courses based on this played a key role in achieving the A grade.
By obtaining the A grade, Hannam University will receive project funding of 5.871 billion KRW in the second year of the project.

President Lee Kwang-seop of Hannam University said, "Setting the goals of the Innovation Support Project and various efforts for field-centered educational innovation in the local community have led to the achievement of an 'A grade' in the evaluation," adding, "Our university will continue to focus on nurturing creative talents who lead the local community and innovative convergence education."
