Dogong to Operate Public Hospital at Anseong Rest Area
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] Korea Expressway Corporation will operate a public hospital at Anseong Rest Area (Seoul direction) on the Gyeongbu Expressway.
On the 10th, the Expressway Corporation signed a business agreement with Gyeonggi Province to operate a public medical institution at the expressway rest area. Accordingly, the two organizations plan to operate a public hospital at Anseong Rest Area on the Gyeongbu Expressway that can provide emergency patient treatment and medical services for visitors.
The two organizations will open a public offering for consignment institutions capable of operating the rest area public hospital, targeting medical corporations and others, starting from mid-this month. Full-scale operation is planned to begin in October.
The public hospital will offer internal medicine, family medicine consultations, emergency patient care, and vaccinations, which is expected to help truck and bus drivers who usually find it difficult to visit hospitals during their schedules manage their health.
