Daeseon Joojo, a liquor manufacturer in the Busan area, received a plaque of appreciation from the Air Force on the 9th. Every year, they have consistently gifted consolation items to Air Force soldiers, and when they decided to donate 1 ton of alcohol raw material used for disinfectants to prevent COVID-19, the Air Force wanted to convey their gratitude.
At 10:30 a.m. that day, Daeseon Joojo CEO Jo Woo-hyun was "summoned" to the 5th Air Mobility Wing located in Gangseo-gu, Busan, and went there immediately. It was an invitation from the Wing Commander. CEO Jo received the plaque of appreciation and kind words from the commander with a bright face.
The handover ceremony was attended by Daeseon Joojo CEO Jo Woo-hyun, company executives and employees, and Air Force officials including 5th Air Mobility Wing Commander Yoo Jae-moon, sharing warm words and conversations.
Since 2017, Daeseon Joojo has annually delivered sponsorship goods to Air Force military units and encouraged soldiers who work hard to defend the country. They wanted to express gratitude for the efforts of the soldiers protecting the nation and boost military morale.
On this day, Daeseon Joojo gifted 1 ton of alcohol raw material for COVID-19 disinfectants. The disinfectant alcohol raw material is ethanol diluted to 70% alcohol content from liquor manufacturing ethanol, used for disinfection to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Besides donating consolation items to Air Force soldiers, the company has also delivered sponsorship goods to Navy soldiers. Last year, they visited the Naval Academy located in Jinhae, Gyeongnam, and conveyed consolation items and encouragement to cadets and soldiers preparing for naval cruising training.
