Fire in Mask Material Warehouse in Daegu... Extinguished After 8 Hours
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] A fire broke out at a mask material storage warehouse in Daegu around 7:30 PM on the 6th and was extinguished after 8 hours.
The fire at the warehouse in Hwawon-eup, Dalseong-gun, Daegu was extinguished around 3:40 AM on the 7th, 8 hours after it started.
When the fire broke out, 51 fire trucks and about 160 firefighters were dispatched, but since a large amount of nonwoven fabric, a mask material, was piled up, it took a long time to completely extinguish the fire.

The nonwoven fabric and other materials burned, causing property damage estimated at about 92 million won (according to the fire station), but fortunately, no casualties occurred. Police and fire authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
