Aeochae Station Area to Host Up to 70m Mixed-Use Complex for Office, Residential, and Commercial Purposes
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] A mixed-use complex with a maximum height of 70 meters, combining office, residential, and commercial facilities, will be built near Aeogae Station on Seoul Subway Line 5 in Mapo-ro 3 District, Zone 1, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
On the 3rd, Seoul City held the 8th Urban Planning Committee meeting and announced on the 4th that it had approved a revised plan for the urban maintenance-type redevelopment project and the maintenance district and maintenance plan changes for Mapo-ro 3 District, Zone 1, in Ahyeon-dong 617-1, Mapo-gu.
The site is a quasi-residential area currently occupied by 11 neighborhood living facilities and 5 residential buildings. Through this maintenance plan decision, new construction of office facilities, neighborhood living facilities, and apartment housing will be carried out with a building coverage ratio of 60% or less, a floor area ratio of 546% or less, and a height of 70 meters or less. The maintenance infrastructure is planned to include public office facilities with a total floor area of 4,475.03㎡ within the district.
Seoul City stated, "With this decision, we expect to revitalize the deteriorated urban space along Mapo-daero, strengthening the functions of the Mapo-Gongdeok regional center and fostering it as a self-sufficient hub for living and culture in accordance with the '2030 Seoul Urban Basic Plan.'"
