View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Korea National Open University and Korea National University of Education announced on the 2nd that they held the '2020 UNESCO UNITWIN' joint workshop in Dongdaemun, Seoul. This workshop served as an opportunity to enhance cooperation among member institutions of the UNESCO UNITWIN network, contributing to the expansion of higher education opportunities in developing countries, and also discussed educational trends and response measures amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was attended by about 40 people, including Ryu Su-no, President of Korea National Open University, Kim Jong-woo, President of Korea National University of Education, as well as professors and staff from each university.
